Introduction

InfoSec has been an annual information technology and communication seminar and conference, since 2005. The Infosec2007 conference took place on 19-20 April 2007, at the Chinggis Khaan Hotel, Ulaanbaatar. The conference is organized by ISC Mongolia Group, with support from Information Communication Technology Agency and Mongolian chamber of Commerce and Industry. More than 200 participants from Government organizations, Mongolian and international leading companies have participated in the Infosec2007. During the conference many companies presented their new technologies, shared their experience on information technology and made discussions.

Infosec Mongolia 2007 conference consisted of 5 main sessions:

  • Information technology
  • Communication technology
  • IT & Physical Security
  • E-Government solutions
  • E-learning

The two-day conference comprised of, intense vertical tracks, in-depth technology, business, management and governance-focused sessions related to the information and communication technology. There were open forums such as WiMax, e-government solutions, e-learning and ERP. Quick-hit panels provided an opportunity of discussion between the speakers and participants. 

The Infosec Mongolia 2007 conference was designed with streams to provide information and ideas to key target audiences. Key themes and streams include:

  • e-Government solutions
  • e-Banking solutions
  • e-learning
  • WiMax Communication

 

e-Imperium company introduced a real time e-Voting system and the delegates tested the system during the conference.
